New Delhi: AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has responded to remarks by Goa Congress chief Girish Chodankar over the newly announced ‘Goa First’ alliance between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Goa Forward Party (GFP).
Chodankar had alleged that the alliance could be linked to a political arrangement involving the BJP and AAP in Punjab and Goa. Responding on X, Kejriwal wrote, “Congress concedes defeat in Punjab.”
The AAP and GFP announced the ‘Goa First’ alliance ahead of the 2027 Goa Assembly elections, presenting it as an alternative to both the BJP and Congress.
Chodankar criticised the alliance, claiming it did not reflect the aspirations of Goa’s voters and predicting that both AAP and GFP would face rejection in the state.
