Islamabad: Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir has issued a fresh warning directed at India amid continuing tensions between the two neighboring countries.

The remarks came during the first anniversary of India’s military operation, “Operation Sindoor,” which was reportedly launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Speaking on the occasion, the Pakistani military chief delivered strong and provocative statements regarding Pakistan’s national security and sovereignty.

Field Marshal Asim Munir warned that any future action perceived as a threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty would lead to consequences that would be “extremely dangerous, far-reaching, and painful for the enemy.”

His comments are expected to further heighten tensions between India and Pakistan at a time when diplomatic relations between the two countries remain strained over security and cross-border issues.

Security analysts believe the renewed exchange of strong rhetoric from both sides could impact regional stability unless efforts are made to reduce tensions through diplomatic engagement.
