A survivor of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has publicly revealed disturbing details of alleged sexual abuse that took place while Epstein was under house arrest in the United States.
The survivor, identified only as Roza, gave emotional testimony during a special hearing organised by Democratic lawmakers in West Palm Beach, Florida. According to her statement, she was recruited from Uzbekistan as a teenager by Epstein associate and modelling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, who allegedly promised her a successful modelling career in the United States.
Roza told lawmakers that she met Brunel in 2008 and later travelled to New York on a visa in May 2009. She said she was introduced to Epstein in July 2009 at his residence in West Palm Beach while he was serving house arrest following his 2008 conviction for soliciting prostitution from a minor.
During the hearing, Roza alleged that Epstein initially offered her employment through his Florida Science Foundation to help with her financial difficulties. However, she stated that she was later sexually abused by Epstein and subjected to repeated assaults over a period of nearly three years.
The hearing was organised by Democratic members of the US House Oversight Committee to highlight the long-running failures surrounding the Epstein case and to keep public attention focused on the investigation. Lawmakers stated that many victims were repeatedly failed by the justice system, allowing Epstein and his associates to avoid accountability for years.
Roza also criticised the handling of sensitive victim information after her identity was allegedly exposed in files released by the US Department of Justice. She said the release caused severe emotional distress and fear for her personal safety, while powerful individuals connected to the case remained protected.
Another survivor, Maria Farmer, also addressed lawmakers through a recorded message. She stated that she first reported Epstein’s alleged crimes in 1996 but claimed authorities failed to act effectively despite repeated warnings.
Jeffrey Epstein died in a New York prison cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. His death and the continued controversy surrounding his connections with influential personalities have remained a major issue in US political and legal discussions.
DPCI News Desk reports that the latest testimonies have once again intensified demands for greater transparency, accountability, and justice for survivors involved in the Epstein case.
