Chennai, July 16: Siruthuli Chairman S.V. Balasubramaniam and Managing Trustee Vanitha Mohan met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay at the State Secretariat in Chennai to discuss the organisation’s ongoing environmental initiatives.
During the meeting, the Siruthuli delegation briefed the Chief Minister on the non-profit organisation’s efforts to promote environmental conservation and sustainable development across Tamil Nadu.
The discussions focused on Siruthuli’s key initiatives, including waterbody restoration, afforestation, waste management, and environmental awareness programmes aimed at protecting natural resources and improving ecological sustainability.
Siruthuli is a well-known non-profit organisation that works on environmental protection and conservation through community-driven projects and awareness campaigns.
The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government and civil society organisations in addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainable development in the State.
