Chennai, July 16: The makers of “Jana Nayagan”, the much-awaited final film of actor-turned-politician and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, have officially announced that the movie will be released in theatres on July 23.
The announcement brings an end to months of uncertainty surrounding the film’s release. The movie had faced delays after its certification process was halted by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in January, postponing its theatrical release.
With the certification issues now resolved, the makers confirmed the new release date through an official announcement, much to the excitement of Vijay’s fans.
“Jana Nayagan” is being promoted as Vijay’s swansong film, marking what is expected to be his final appearance on the big screen as he focuses on his political career.
The film is expected to attract significant attention across Tamil Nadu and other parts of the country when it releases in cinemas on July 23.
