Three Indian establishments — Boilermaker, SOKA, and Bar Spirit Forward — have been recognised among Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, highlighting India’s growing presence in the region’s competitive cocktail and hospitality industry.
The prestigious list was announced at a ceremony held in Macau, where Hope & Sesame from Guangzhou, China, secured the top position. The 2026 rankings featured 50 bars from 22 cities, including 14 new entries.
Among the Indian entries, Boilermaker in Goa secured the eighth position, marking a significant achievement for the country’s bar scene. Bengaluru continued its reputation as India’s leading bar destination, with two establishments from the city making it to the list.
Industry experts noted that the recognition reflects the creativity, innovation, and consistency of Indian bartenders and hospitality professionals. Although no new Indian winners emerged this year, the continued presence of established names demonstrates the country’s growing influence in Asia’s beverage landscape.
